Safety Policy



Safety is a key factor of our company’s work. It is part of our operation and is in place to protect our employees, customers, property, the public and the environment.

Safety is important to our company because there are many costs to accidents and unsafe work practices. Working in an unsafe manner can cost, at worst lives, but can also cause harm to others, property or the environment. By working safely, we protect our right to continue in business and employ people.

If we work in a safe manner we help boost morale within our company. This happens by having everyone contribute to the program. Any employee, contractor or visitor to our workplace must adhere to our safety program. Failure to do so may result 'in disciplinary actions ranging from suspension to dismissal, or may lead to legal action by government regulators.

Everyone employed by Canadian Wellhead Isolation Corp. is responsible for maintaining our safety program. Managers and supervisors are responsible for identifying safety needs, pointing out hazards, investigating accidents and providing training to all employees. Management will also provide safe equipment and ensure it is properly maintained.

All employees of Canadian Wellhead Isolation Corp. must wear personal protective equipment when required, participate in training programs and inform management of any and all unsafe working conditions. Everyone has the right and responsibility to refuse to do work if an unsafe condition exists.

By following our safe work practices, everyone will share the benefits of a safe workplace.
